For a lot of people the full mattress is too small and does not provide enough personal space. This is why they go for the queen size mattress.

If you would compare the queen size mattress with the king mattress you will find that both have the same length. But king mattress is wider than queen. Precisely, it is 16 inches wider as compared to the queen mattress. Of course the king size mattress could be more comfortable than the queen size but it does take up a lot of extra space in the room. A lot of people do not have enough space in the room to comfortably accommodate king size. This is why they either go for queen size mattress or full mattress.

The queen size is standard and popular. This is why it is quite easy to find the bed sheets for this mattress size as compared to the California king or twin beds.

While buying the mattress, make sure that you buy it from the renowned company. Some mattresses seem pretty comfortable in the beginning but after a few months of use they stretch and are not able to come back to the original shape. This is why they cause discomfort.
